Munson, Inc. is a family-owned fencing and paving contractor serving the Greater Milwaukee area for over 70 years. We've partnered with major clients, including Summerfest, Microsoft, Northwestern Mutual, and the Fiserv Forum, on impactful commercial projects throughout the region.

We are seeking a Construction Project Support & CAD Designer to assist with project documentation, submittals, and construction plan reviews. This is a hands-on, office-based position ideal for someone who enjoys working with drawings and construction documents and is interested in advancing into roles such as estimating, project coordination, or sales.

This role is in all Munson divisions — fencing , paving , and sports surfaces — supporting a wide variety of commercial and specialty construction projects. This is not a design or architecture role — it’s a technical documentation role focused on supporting sales and estimating teams working on general contractor projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings and specifications for project setup
• Assist with creating submittals and shop drawings using Bluebeam Revu
• Support estimators and sales reps with bid documents, takeoffs, and client communication
• Help manage paperwork for general contractor projects, including permits and contracts
• Organize and maintain digital project folders and plan sets
• Contribute to plan drafting for sports/recreational spaces like tennis and pickleball courts

 

What We're Looking For:

• Education or experience in construction technology , drafting , civil engineering , or a related field
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu , AutoCAD , or similar CAD/drawing software
• Comfortable reading and interpreting plans, specs, and contract documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to work full-time, in-office in Glendale, WI
