ABOUT THE JOB

Ready to join a fun, growing athleisure brand? GOAT USA is seeking a friendly and dedicated in-person Customer Service Associate ( Seasonal Temporary) to provide exceptional support to our customers across multiple channels during the business holiday season. You’ll work closely with the GOAT USA team and report directly to the Customer Experience Manager, ensuring every customer has a positive and memorable interaction with our brand. This seasonal temporary role will be run through our peak holiday season and will conclude on January 31st, 2026.

Job Purpose

The Customer Service Associate serves as the first point of contact for GOAT USA customers, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional. This role is responsible for addressing and resolving customer issues (whether large or small), across phone, email, social media, and live chat . Beyond resolving problems, the Customer Service Associate strives to deliver exceptional, above-and-beyond service that fosters loyalty and encourages customers to return.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reply to all email inquiries in a timely manner
  • Reply to all social media direct message inquiries in a timely manner
  • Navigate internal systems in order to make adjustments and changes to orders when necessary.
  • Facilitate defective product replacements
  • Facilitate live event exchanges (handled manually for cash purchases without receipt)
  • Coordinate fundraising donations
  • Reach out to customers to S.W.A.T. (sell what's available today) in the instance that an ordered product is out of stock
  • Cancel/Reship GOAT USA Sticker Subscriptions
  • Processing returns
  • Assist customers on facilitating a return or exchange
  • Provide order status updates upon request
  • Provide promo codes/refund shipping for inconveniences
  • Utilize strong decision-making skills to resolve out-of-the-box issues
  • Utilize strong communication skills to resolve issues with unhappy customers

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Full-Time, Temporary, non-exempt.
  • Location: Plainview, NY

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. in person at our Plainview, NY office, with additional evening and weekend shifts working from home on a rotating basis (typically 2–3 weekday nights and one weekend day per week). The role will conclude on January 31, 2026.
