Data Analyst
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Domain Skills:
• Experience in Data Migration & Data quality including experience with challenges of Data Survivor rules, data harmonization
Technical Skills:
• Data Analysis & SQL: Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing structured data across complex relational schemas
• Data mapping and Transformation: Experience in mapping source systems to target data structures
• Process Documentation & Business analysis: Ability to gather, document, and translate Business requirement to functional specifications
• Experience with user stories, process flows, EPICs and use cases
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and integrity
• Ability to work in agile, cross-functional team
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform complex data analysis, data mapping and transformations in applications in financial domain
• Perform documentation and business analysis
• Draft and maintain user stories, process flows, EPICs et al.
• Implementation and Roll-out of on prem and cloud-based application development projects
• Work on fixing application issues and enhancement items
• Mentoring junior developers in the team and identify opportunities for product improvements, implementation of best practices et al.
• Work on application troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis as well as address identified issues
• Track the project status, issues, risks and updates timely with senior leadership.
