Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join a healthcare organization in Sacramento. In this role, you’ll support dentists and dental staff in delivering high-quality care in a modern, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist chairside during patient procedures
- Take and process digital x-rays
- Maintain sterilization standards and support patient flow
- Document and update records in electronic health systems
- Provide professional, compassionate patient interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of California Dental Practice Act + 8-hour Infection Control course
- Current BLS certification
- X-ray certification (radiation safety)
- Completion of a formal Dental Assisting program preferred
