Job Summary
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients visiting the firm’s retail-style financial center. You’ll be responsible for greeting clients, managing incoming calls, and supporting the office staff with day-to-day administrative functions. Your professionalism and attention to detail will help ensure a seamless and welcoming experience for every client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
- Answer and direct incoming calls, or take clear, detailed messages
- Assist clients with appointment confirmations, directions, or general inquiries
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and presentable front office/reception area
- Schedule meetings and appointments for financial advisors and staff
- Handle basic administrative support tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Monitor and manage client wait times; offer refreshments as appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Collaborate with office and operations staff to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist with occasional light customer service tasks such as form completion, client onboarding materials, or appointment reminders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 0–2 years of experience in a receptionist, customer service, or retail/front desk role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using office software (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and learning new systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential financial information
- Willingness to work in a client-focused environment where punctuality and professionalism are key
