BCForward is currently seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer for an opportunity with our client

Role: CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 3

Location: Chicago, IL (or) Boydton, VA

Typical Day in the Role:

• Able to complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role description. Chiller method of procedure (MOP) − If the system is down to “N” level of redundancy. Chilled water pump MOP − If the system is down to “N” level of redundancy.
• Computer-room air handler (CRAH) MOP − If the system is down to “N” level of redundancy. Experience with building management systems (EPMS).
• Preferred: EPA Refrigerant License. Required: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
• Required: Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Required: 5+ year(s) work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g. automotive, electrical, controls, data Center).
• Required: Able to work a flexible work schedule which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks.
• Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Night Shift A: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue); Supplier-Provided Windows 11 Laptop WILL BE Required; (PPE) Feet: Composite/Steel reinforced boots
