Patient Access Supervisor

Networks Connect is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a fast-paced, 24/7 Patient Access Department on behalf of our client. What You’ll Do
As the Patient Access Supervisor , you’ll manage the organizational and administrative functions of a multi-location Patient Access team, including Admissions, Emergency Department, Laboratory & Radiology Registration, Scheduling, and Financial Counseling. You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients receive a seamless experience while supporting staff development and meeting fiscal goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating Patient Access staff
- Overseeing scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and copay collection
- Monitoring key performance indicators such as registration quality, first pass denials, and time-of-service goals
- Collaborating with medical, nursing, and finance teams to ensure accurate patient placement and billing processes
- Driving operational efficiency, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Handling payroll, scheduling, and administrative duties to keep the department running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Education : Associate’s degree required
- Experience : 4+ years of healthcare-related experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of hospital scheduling and billing systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; bilingual skills are a plus
- CHAM Certification (or ability to obtain within the first year of hire)
