HVAC Technician - 1 month contract , possibility to extend or convert full-time

Location: Long Island, NY

Start Date: 9/2/25

Hourly Pay: 40hr - 55hr based on experience level.

**This position requires all technicians to have a personal vehicle - Mileage reimbursement provided.

**Must pass a background and drug test.

Must-haves

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC certification or technical training
• Valid HVAC license and EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience, with emergency service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is seeking a 1-month contract, possible extensions, possible conversion to perm, HVAC Technician to support 6 customer services calls per day on Long Island, NY. We are seeking a dependable and experienced HVAC Technician with a strong focus on emergency services. This role requires rapid response to urgent HVAC issues (ex: heat breaking during the winter or AC breaking during the hot Summer.) The ideal candidate will be skilled in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems under pressure, ensuring safety, comfort, and minimal downtime for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency HVAC service calls.
• Diagnose and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures..
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with dispatch and clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and HVAC regulations.
• Maintain a stocked service vehicle with necessary tools and parts.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues.
