A well know know client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This role will focus on corporate governance, entity management, board support, and compliance for a growing property management company. You'll work closely with the General Counsel on a wide range of corporate matters-making this an exciting opportunity to contribute and grow in a dynamic environment.
What You'll DoManage corporate entity formation and maintenance, including drafting authorizations, updating org charts, and tracking litigation status.
Assist with filing licenses, permits, and certifications of authorization.
Draft and prepare legal documents, board minutes, and distribute meeting packets.
Maintain corporate records and track trademarks, copyrights, and other IP.
Support litigation tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with the General Counsel on corporate legal matters and special projects.
Provide notary services (a plus, but not required).
2-3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal (public company experience strongly preferred).
Paralegal certificate required; AA or BA/BS degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook required).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent document drafting skills with keen attention to detail.
Self-motivated, task-oriented, and able to take initiative on projects.
Notary public certification a plus.
Real estate industry experience a plus (not required).
On-site in Los Angeles: Monday-Thursday, Friday schedule work from home.
